The following issue has been deemed harmful

House Republicans push forward the plan to cut Medicaid, food assistance, and climate initiatives in order to finance a tax cut to the very wealthy and corporations.

Why is this harmful?

• More than 8 million Americans are estimated to lose their health insurance. America will get sicker, while rich people and corporations get richer.
• The loss of this insurance will also harm small rural hospitals that depend on this insurance. America will get sicker, while rich people and corporations get richer.
• Families and children will suffer with cuts to food assistance, while rich people and corporations get richer.
• Climate changes affect the poor first, while rich people and corporations get richer.

What can you do?

Call your reps and leave a message:

Do not cut Medicaid by any method. People and health systems will suffer,  while rich people and corporations get richer.

Do not cut food assistance to children and families. They will suffer, while rich people and corporations get richer.

Climate change is close to the tipping point, if not there already.  We need to be working on this yesterday!  This affects all of us, but the poorest are already suffering while rich people and corporations get richer.

In summary, the playing field is not level! Help those who need help. The very rich and corporations can help themselves.  Who are you representing with your vote - the very rich or all the rest of us in Arkansas?
